*
Labour Department

The Labour Department will hold a two-day job fair in Tsing Yi July 9 and 10, offering 2,000 vacancies from 25 firms in retail, catering, security and airport-related trades.

Jobs will include sales, shop assistant, waiter, security guard, technician, shop supervisor and manager. More than 80% are full-time jobs mostly offering monthly pay of $5,000 to $10,000. More than 90% require up to Secondary 5 education while 60% are open to job seekers without relevant experience.

Thirteen firms will erect counters and conduct on-the-spot recruitment or interviews. The department will also conduct on-the-spot job-seeking registration.

The fair will be held at the 1/F Fantasy Island, Maritime Square, 33 Tsing King Road from 11am to 6pm. Visit the department's Interactive Employment Service website to learn more about the vacancies.
