Job fair to offer 1,600 vacancies
*
Labour Department

The Labour Department will stage a job fair at Olympian City on March 2, offering more than 1,600 vacancies. They include positions like shop supervisor, branch director, shop assistant, customer service officer, cook, waiter, and cleaner.

About 85% are for full-time jobs with a monthly salary ranging from $5,000 to $8,000. Over 95% require Form 5 education or below. About 60% are open to jobseekers without experience.

Fifteen companies from the catering and retail sectors will erect recruitment counters. The department will conduct on-the-spot job-seeking registration.

The fair will run from 11am to 6pm at the Central Atrium, ground floor, Olympian City 2, 18 Hoi Ting Road, West Kowloon. Admission is free.
