At your fingertips: Parents can find information on more than 600 local primary schools on the Primary School Profiles 2006 website.

The Primary School Profiles 2006, with information about more than 600 local primary schools, is now available online, the Committee on Home-School Co-operation says.

This is the seventh year the committee has issued the profiles, which include information on teaching staff, school facilities, class structure, school life, extra-curricular activities, school characteristics and so on. The information in the profiles was provided by schools in June this year.

The profiles aim to help parents' choose primary schools by providing them with comprehensive information. Important points for parents to consider when selecting schools are also included.

The profiles first went online in 2003. To read the online version, click here. Copies of the printed version will be available at district offices, public libraries, regional education offices as well as the Education & Manpower Bureau Central Resources Centre from September 12.
