Career-oriented curriculum expo set for May 5

*

The Education & Manpower Bureau will organise the COC Expo 2006 from May 5 to 7 to help schools, teachers, students and parents understand the pilot career-oriented curriculum courses to be offered in the next school year.

Nine course providers offering these pilot courses will exhibit their course information and give talks to visitors.

They will offer courses starting September this year covering the following six areas:

* applied science;

* business, management and law;

* creative studies;

* engineering and production;

* media and communication; and

* services.

The expo will run from 9am to 5pm at the Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre's West Block, 19 Suffolk Road, Kowloon Tong.

More details about the expo are available from the bureau's website. For enquiries, call 3698 3186.
