21 elected to education council

*

Twenty-one candidates have been elected to the Council on Professional Conduct in Education under the teacher-nominated and the organisation-nominated categories, the Education & Manpower Bureau says.

 

They are Lam Shu-wing, Billy Leung, Tong Chung-fan, Yeung Cheong-chun, Dr Leung Ping-wa, Lee Lai-ming, Pun Tin-chi, Tse Wai-lok, Chin Chun-yin, Chan Tsui-yuk, Elaine Kwan, Don Cheng, Cinda Chan, Eddie Shee, Fung Suk-kai, Fung Tak-wah, Grace Tsui, Lee Siu-hok, Dr Wu Siu-wai, Dr Yu Wai-bing and Clifton Yeung.

 

The Permanent Secretary for Education & Manpower will nominate three members, including a Principal Assistant Secretary of the bureau and two lay members, to the council.

 

The new council's first meeting will be held on May 16.
