Secondary school list to be distributed

*

Parents of Primary 6 students joining the Secondary School Places Allocation System's 2006 cycle will soon receive documents on their choice of schools.

Primary schools participating in the system have been asked to collect the documents, including Secondary 1 Choice of Schools Forms and the Secondary School List, today for distribution to parents. They should read the documents carefully before choosing schools.

Secondary 1 Choice of Schools Forms should be completed and returned to schools for submission to the Education & Manpower Bureau by May 8.

About 78,800 primary six students are under the Secondary School Places Allocation System this year. For enquiries, call the bureau's enquiry hotline 2891 0088, the School Places Allocation Section on 2832 7740 or 7700, or visit the bureau's website.
