Arthur Li to visit Ireland, Switzerland
*

Secretary for Education & Manpower Professor Arthur Li will lead a higher education delegation to visit Ireland and Switzerland from April 5 to 14.

Invited by the two host governments, Professor Li will visit the two European countries with representatives of the University Grants Committee and UGC-funded institutions.

The purpose of the visits is to strengthen bilateral relationships between Hong Kong and the two countries in the area of education, and to facilitate exchanges and collaboration between the institutions.

During his visit to Ireland, he will meet the Ministers responsible for the same portfolio, as well as the National Qualifications Authority.

Professor Li will subsequently go to Switzerland where he will visit various tertiary institutions and meet the State Secretary for Education and Research.
