An exhibition and joint registration for Project Yi Jin will be held at the Hong Kong Productivity Council from 10am to 6pm on August 9 and 10.
Seven member bodies of the Federation for Continuing Education in Tertiary Institutions will set up counters to introduce their programmes and answer queries.
Students can submit applications for full-time programmes of the seven institutions at the venue. They must pay an application fee of $200 (cash).
All applications received will be assessed at the end of the joint registration period and applicants will be informed of their results by post by August 20.
Project Yi Jin is a scheme targeting students with different abilities and aspirations. More than 10,000 students have pursued the programme over the past three years.
New courses on tourism and hospitality, hotel management, digital music and image production, and Japanese catering will be offered under the project in 2003/04.
Like last year, students who are eligible for full financial assistance under a means test will be reimbursed 100% of the tuition fee paid upon satisfactory completion of each module.
All students will be reimbursed 30% of the tuition fee paid for each satisfactorily completed module.
