New Education Commission members named

*

Two new members have been appointed to the Education Commission for a two-year term with effect from July 1.

 

They are Chinese University Professor Leslie Lo and Law Ting Pong Secondary School supervisor Dorothy Chan.

 

Several incumbent members have been re-appointed, including Cheung Man-kwong, Pang Yiu-kai, Harlanna Yeung and Yeung Yiu-chung.

 

Secretary for Education & Manpower Professor Arthur Li welcomed the appointments.

 

He said with their professional knowledge in education, they will be able to contribute useful ideas and provide effective support to the work of the commission.

 

Professor Li also thanked outgoing members Andrew Leung, Irving Koo, Chan Chui-chun, Professor Chung Yue-ping and Tso Kai-lok for their contribution.
