Yau Tsim Mong by-election nominations open

Election

Nominations for the Yau Tsim Mong District Council Jordan East Constituency by-election will start tomorrow and run until August 27.

 

A poll will be held on October 5 if there is more than one candidate.

 

A nominee must be a registered geographical constituency elector aged 21 or above who has ordinarily resided in Hong Kong for the three years immediately before their nomination.

 

A nomination must be subscribed to by 10 registered electors of the constituency. Each elector is allowed to subscribe to only one nomination.

 

Nominations are accepted 9am to 5pm weekdays and 9am to noon Saturdays.

 

Nomination forms and details of the District Council Election are available at the office of the Returning Officer and can be downloaded here. Call 2891 1001 for enquiries.
