Reconstruction

CS' Sichuan trip to discuss HK's rebuilding role
*

Chief Secretary Henry Tang will lead a Hong Kong government delegation to Chengdu on July 31 to discuss the details of Hong Kong's participation in the post-quake reconstruction work with the Sichuan Provincial Government.

 

The delegates include Secretary for Education Michael Suen and Permanent Secretary Raymond Wong, Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Stephen Lam and Permanent Secretary Joshua Law, Secretary for Food & Health Dr York Chow, Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing, Permanent Secretary for Labour & Welfare Paul Tang, and Permanent Secretary for Development (Works) Mak Chai-kwong.

 

Mr Tang will return to Hong Kong on August 2. While he is away, Secretary for Security Ambrose Lee will be acting Chief Secretary.
