The movie poster for Bruce Lee’s The Way of the Dragon and others will be exhibited by the Film Archive starting from January 12.
The More Than a Piece of Paper: Rediscovering Hong Kong Movie Posters exhibition will display 100 posters from the 1960s to recent years.
Admission is free to the exhibition where posters for films such as Stephen Chow’s God of Gamblers II to director Ann Hui’s A Simple Life will be displayed.
It will also feature a nostalgic model of Nathan Road lined with posters and will run until March 18 at the archive’s exhibition hall.
The Film Archive will also hold a free screening of The Posterist, a documentary about the creative career of renowned Hong Kong movie poster artist Yuen Tai-yung, on February 3.
