Nineteen films by internationally acclaimed Polish film director Andrzej Wajda will be screened in the “Repertory Cinema 2016 - Andrzej Wajda 90” series from October 28 to December 4 at the Hong Kong Film Archive.
Presented by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department's Film Programmes Office, the series will feature Wajda masterpieces, some of which have never been shown in Hong Kong.
To complement the screenings, programme curator Law Wai-ming and film critics Matthew Cheng and Lam Kam-po will host a free seminar in Cantonese at 4.30pm on October 30 at the Hong Kong Film Archive.
The Film Programmes Office will also hold three master study courses on November 5, 19 and 26.
