The Leisure & Cultural Services Department will present Sharing Lectures by Hong Kong Composers 2016 in May and June, featuring six acclaimed local composers sharing their experiences and music composition views.
Some of the sessions will also include live music demonstrations.
The six speakers invited by the Hong Kong Composers' Guild are: Dr Ada Lai, Dr Raymond Mok, Kung Chi-shing, Ng Cheuk-yin, Prof Christopher Keyes and Dr Tung Lai-shing.
The lectures will be held on May 4, 11, 18 and 25, and on June 1 and 8 at 7.30pm at the Space Museum.
Prof Keyes will conduct the English lecture, while the other talks will be in Cantonese.
