Acclaimed pianist Jacky Wong will collaborate with the Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra to perform Beethoven piano concertos in March.
He will conduct and perform from the keyboard, Piano Concerto No. 1 in C, 3rd movement, Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat, 1st movement, the complete Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor, Piano Concerto No. 4 in G, 2nd movement and Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-flat, 'Emperor', 3rd movement.
The first in Asia and Australia to conduct complete Beethoven piano concertos from the keyboard, Mr Wong has appeared as a soloist with numerous orchestras in Hong Kong and Australia. He is currently the Guangxi Symphony Orchestra's chief conductor.
Presented by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department, Jacky Wong's Beethoven Piano Concertos will be staged at 8pm on March 11 at Tsuen Wan Town Hall and at 8pm on March 12 at Yuen Long Theatre.
