March 17, 2015

The Sergey Obratsov puppet theatre will stage An Unusual Concert featuring puppets morphing into eccentric artists in April.

It is one of the Festival of Russian Culture’s major attractions and appeals to both children and adults.

Premiered in 1946, it has been performed more than 10,000 times around the world and is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as a performance with the largest number of viewers in the world.

The show is a comic puppet variety show in the form of a series of parodies of popular concerts featuring singers, musicians, dancers, trainers and jugglers.

It will be staged at 7.30pm from April 7 to 9 at Sha Tin Town Hall.

Tickets are available at URBTIX.
