Acclaimed Cantonese opera stars will perform in a new show A Heroic Woman of the Ming Dynasty to mark the launch of the newly built Ko Shan Theatre New Wing.
The opera, written by Yuen Siu-fai, will be staged at the new wing on October 31, and November 1 and 5.
Yuen will conduct a post-performance talk in Cantonese on November 8.
Some traditional operas will also be staged in the new venue in October and November, including Prime Minister of the Six States, The Butterfly Lovers, The Story of the Lute, and A Warring Couple.
