Presented by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department, the open competition attracted 1,000 entrants, from which 97 works were selected for the exhibition after two rounds of judging.

Speaking at the opening ceremony today, Mr Tsang said the works display a strong local consciousness and an international art perspective.

"The artists used various media to share their ideas and create their works, fully showing the uniqueness of Hong Kong art in the international art scene," he said.
