An additional screening of
All About Eve will be held on June 10 at 2pm at theFilm Archive cinema due to enthusiastic response.
The film is a multiple Oscar winner well known for its depiction of ruthless ambition filtered through an intimate portrait of the theatre world.
Starring Bettie Davis and Anne Baxter, the film offers a highly cynical view of show business, as an innocent young devotee snakes her way into the life of an ageing star, scheming to push the latter aside.
