Hong Kong-based arts group We Draman will perform British playwright Steven Berkoff's "Messiah" in June.
The play reconstructs a "Jesus" who is a revolutionary and a politician, capable of manipulating history and popular opinion to achieve his aims. Directed and performed by Tang Wai-kit, the cast includes Sit Hoi-fai, Chan Kwan-kin and Chu Pak-him.
Performed in Cantonese, the show will be held at 8pm on June 15 and 16, and at 3pm on June 16 and 17 at Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre.
