The Class 7A Drama Group will stage its latest production
Our Memorable Moment at the Railway Museum in February and March.
Hong Kong's railways have seen a century of momentous change. A hundred years ago, just before the Kowloon-Canton Railway began operation, zealous supporters of the revolt that was to become the 1911 Revolution sought every means to send supplies back to their comrades in China.
Forty years ago, Hong Kong people returning by rail to see poor relatives in the Mainland took with them as many items as they could. Nowadays it is the Mainlanders who flock to Hong Kong, an armada of shoppers armed with cash, credit cards and shopping lists.
The show will be performed in Cantonese at 8.15pm February 24 to 26 and March 2 to 4 at the Railway Museum.
