Secretary for Education Eddie Ng will depart for Beijing on May 31 for education exchanges.
Mr Ng will meet Ministry of Education officials and the Beijing Municipal Education Commission to discuss higher education.
He will also meet representatives from Beijing universities to discuss how colleges from the two cities can collaborate in the Belt & Road Initiative.
Under Secretary for Education Kevin Yeung will be Acting Secretary during Mr Ng's absence.
