The Labour & Welfare Bureau says it has not asked the consultant to amend any part of the draft report on the retirement protection study.
It commissioned SEE Network to arrange consultation sessions for the public engagement exercise on retirement protection in November last year and to record and analyse the public views gathered from the exercise.
The consultation period ended in June.
The consultant submitted the first draft report to the bureau in September.
In a statement today the bureau said it has not written another report nor requested the consultant to add its name to it.
It noted the consultant said in response to media enquiries the consultation report was compiled independently.
