Secretary for Education Eddie Ng is visiting Guangdong for two days with six university council chairmen to attend an exchange meeting on higher education.
The delegation will visit the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation & Entrepreneur Hub today, meeting young entrepreneurs from Hong Kong to hear about their ambitions and experience in starting up a business.
The delegation will also visit ZTE Corporation to gain insight on technological innovation in Shenzhen.
Tomorrow Mr Ng and the university council chairmen will attend the Hong Kong/Guangdong Universities High Level Meeting to exchange views with education officials and leaders of higher education institutions on the latest developments of post-secondary education and to discuss co-operation opportunities.
They will also visit Guangzhou Saliai Stemcell Science & Technology and will listen to an update on the development of hi-tech industries in Guangzhou.
Mr Ng will also meet with the Shenzhen Municipal Government and the Guangdong Provincial Government to introduce the latest education developments in Hong Kong.
