The Education Bureau today opened applications for a vacant school premises in Central & Western District for physical extension in the School Allocation Exercise.
It is the former St Paul's Co-educational (Kennedy Road) Primary School at 26 Kennedy Road, which has been accorded Grade 1 status by the Antiquities Advisory Board.
The premises is open for application by all existing public sector and Direct Subsidy Scheme secondary schools for physical extension.
Quality of education will be the prime consideration in assessing the applications. Other factors include operation track records, the proposed school plan for physical extension, and the physical condition of the schools' existing premises.
Applications close March 23.
