Secretary for Education Eddie Ng will visit Beijing tomorrow to meet with Ministry of Education and Beijing Municipal Education Commission officials.
Mr Ng will introduce the education initiatives in the 2016 Policy Address, including free quality kindergarten education, expanding the Mainland University Study Subsidy Scheme and promoting interflows between sister schools in Hong Kong and the Mainland.
Deputy Secretaries for Education Brian Lo and Catherine Chan, and Mr Ng's Administrative Assistant Rick Chan will join the visit.
Under Secretary for Education Kevin Yeung will be Acting Secretary during Mr Ng's absence.
