Tai Po District Office will hold a business and career expo from 11am to 7pm on July 4.
More than 50 exhibitors including enterprises, business associations, professional bodies and government departments will participate.
Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Prof KC Chan will officiate at a ceremony at 2.30pm, and meet with young people participating in the event.
Information on career prospects in different industries and professional advice on business start-ups will be offered. Some exhibitors will also conduct on the spot recruitment exercises.
Apart from information booths, well-known figures from various industries will speak on the latest developments and opportunities of their respective sectors and share interview skills and tips. They include Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce Chairman Pang Yiu-kai, Metro Broadcast Corporation Director of Metro Finance Digital Alaric Chu, and young scientist and entrepreneur Chan Yik-hei.
The expo will be held at Tai Po Hui Sports Centre. Admission is free.
