The 2015-16 Award Scheme for Learning Experiences under the Qualifications Framework is open for application until May 20 by practitioners in 20 industries, the Education Bureau announced today.
The scheme encourages outstanding or emerging practitioners to engage in learning activities such as competitions, seminars, sharing sessions and study tours around the world to broaden their horizons, and strengthen their competitiveness by enhancing their knowledge and skills.
They can also develop networks with industry partners in and outside Hong Kong.
Over the past two years, the scheme received over 370 applications from practitioners and more than 100 of them won awards.
Awardees engaging in local learning activities will receive a $10,000 award, while those engaging in learning activities outside Hong Kong will receive a $30,000 award.
