The Public Policy Research Funding Scheme will include the subject of Statutory Minimum Wage as a new indicative research area and is open for applications, the Central Policy Unit announces.
The minimum wage was implemented in 2011. The unit encourages academics and researchers to study the minimum wage’s implications for the economy, the labour market and industrial relations, and its impact on firms, employees and society.
Tertiary institutions and think tanks can submit research proposals.
