Customs officers have arrested two men after seizing counterfeit pills and controlled medicines worth $1.72 million.
During a raid on a medicine shop and its two storage locations in Sheung Shui yesterday, officers found 58,000 counterfeit pills, as well as 115,000 other pills and nine litres of controlled medicines.
A 24-year-old salesperson and a 32-year-old person in charge were arrested.
Investigations are continuing.
