Police will adopt special traffic arrangements and crowd control measures in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island on December 31 to facilitate New Year celebrations.
Roads will be closed in Wan Chai North and Central from 9pm on New Year's Eve.
Road closures in Lan Kwai Fong and Causeway Bay will start from 6pm.
There will be crowd control measures in Lan Kwai Fong when necessary.
For Kowloon, road closures and traffic diversions will be implemented in Tsim Sha Tsui and Hung Hom.
The Marine Department will exercise marine traffic control and carry out more inspections of spectator vessels on the day.
