Customs officers have arrested a 50-year-old man after seizing endangered species items at Shenzhen Bay Control Point.

Officers checked an outgoing private car yesterday and found the contraband in a passenger's baggage.

It included 98kg of ivory, 6.82kg hornbill beak and 1.75kg of agarwood worth over $1 million in total.
