The Department of Justice will launch Mediation Week 2016 tomorrow to promote the healthy development of mediation in Hong Kong and the use of meditation services in the education, medical, commercial, community and intellectual property sectors.
The public can participate in a series of activities during the week-long event.
The Mediation Carnival will be held on May 8 in Lok Fu Plaza, featuring talks, live demonstrations, game booths and an exhibition to foster a better understanding of mediation. It will also provide free consultation services.
At a conference on May 13, international and local meditation experts and practitioners will share their views and experiences.
There will also be seminars for ethnic minorities and new immigrants.
