Customs officers arrested five men and four women yesterday for selling counterfeit goods worth $5 million in Mong Kok.
About 10,000 fake items including watches, handbags, leather goods and sunglasses were seized.
It was the largest among similar cases in the past three years.
The operation involved 120 officers who raided six fixed hawker pitches, six storage areas, a showroom and three flats.
The department advised consumers to buy from reputable shops.
