Customs officers have arrested a 41-year-old man for cigarette smuggling.
They found 110,000 illicit cigarettes in a car he was driving in Tin Shui Wai last night.
The haul was valued at $300,000 with a duty potential of $210,000.
He is believed to be part of a syndicate using boundary-crossing cars to smuggle in illicit cigarettes for quick distribution to peddlers.
