Secretary for Justice Rimsky Yuen will attend a symposium in Macau tomorrow on the protection of children.
Government and judicial representatives, and legal professionals from Asia-Pacific countries and regions will garther at the meeting to discuss the implementation of the Hague 1980 Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and 1996 Convention on Jurisdiction, Applicable Law, Recognition, Enforcement & Co-operation in Respect of Parental Responsibility & Measures for the Protection of Children.
Co-organised by Hong Kong's Department of Justice, Mr Yuen will open the symposium and meet its participants.
