Immigration officers and Police arrested seven Mainland visitors in a crackdown on illegal employment in Sheung Shui on June 13.
One man and six women, aged 44 to 50 were arrested for breaching their conditions of stay by being involved in parallel goods trading at San Wan Road and Shek Wu Hui Jockey Club Playground.
Officers seized milk powder, food, mobile phones, vehicle components and electronic products.
A total of 2,347 Mainlanders and 14 Hong Kong residents have been arrested for parallel goods trading since September 2012. Of these, 216 Mainlanders have been prosecuted and 206 have been jailed.
