Customs officers have arrested two people and seized 4.16kg of methamphetamine worth $1.67 million at the Lok Ma Chau Spur Line Control Point.
Officers stopped a 21-year-old woman arriving at the control point yesterday and found the drugs hidden inside two paper boxes she was carrying.
She was arrested at the scene.
The second suspect, a 40-year-old man, was arrested in Kowloon Tong.
They were charged with drug trafficking and will appear in Fanling Magistracy tomorrow.
