Police have charged a 35-year-old man with wounding with intent after his September 15 arrest in connection with a shooting at North District Hospital.

A policeman and a nurse sustained gunshot wounds, while two other officers and a healthcare worker were also hurt in the incident. The suspect was admitted to Castle Peak Hospital.

The case will be mentioned at Fanling Magistrates' Courts today.
