Acting Secretary for Security John Lee has called on the public to report cyber attacks to Police, to allow them to take action.

Mr Lee told reporters today that to stop such attacks, Police must have access to the targeted system, which requires consent.

He also said Police had previously arrested two people after receiving a report of a distributed denial-of-service or DDoS attack, one of which was convicted in court.
