Police have arrested an 81-year-old man for dangerous driving causing death after his minibus reportedly struck and killed a 43-year-old man today.
At about 2am, the vehicle was travelling along Jockey Club Road towards Sheung Shui when it reportedly knocked the man down as he was walking on the carriageway.
The man was rushed to North District Hospital with head injuries, and was then transferred to Prince of Wales Hospital, where he was certified dead at 3.05am.
Witnesses should call Police on 3661 3800 or 3661 3857.
