North Korean sanctions amended

The Government today gazetted amended sanction regulations the United Nations Security Council has imposed against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
 
The United Nations Security Council's Resolution 2087 expands the scope of sanctions against the country under resolution 1718 to include a list of additional items, materials, equipment, goods and technology related to ballistic-missile programmes.
 
The amended sanction regulations took effect today.
