Police appeal for information after the body of a newborn boy was found in North Point this afternoon.
The body, with an umbilical cord attached, was found inside a sewage pipe on the podium of a building on Wharf Road at around 12.30pm.
Police will conduct a post-mortem examination to determine how the baby died.
The newborn's next-of-kin and people who may have information to offer should contact the Police on 2880 4266.
