The Transport Department today launched the “eTraffic News” mobile application.
The app provides information on traffic incidents according to their nature such as "Road Incident" and "Heavy Traffic” to help users to plan their journey in advance.
It also lists the department’s major traffic notices, including special traffic arrangements and major road works, with alerts sent on the effective dates.
Users can select to receive alerts according to incident categories and forward the content to their friends.
It is available in Android and iPhone versions.
