Secretary for Transport & Housing Prof Anthony Cheung will depart for the Philippines tomorrow to attend the 9th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Transportation Ministerial Meeting in Cebu.
Transport ministers and senior officials from the 21 APEC economies will focus on driving economic growth through inclusive mobility and sustainable transport systems during the meeting.
Prof Cheung will give presentations on advancing inclusive mobility and investing in resilient infrastructure, and will share Hong Kong's relevant policies, strategies and experiences at the panel sessions.
Under Secretary for Transport & Housing Yau Shing-mu will be Acting Secretary during Prof Cheung's absence.
