Tenders for a residential site at Beacon Hill and an industrial site in Kwai Chung have been awarded on 50-year land grants at a total premium of $2.83 billion, the Lands Department announced today.
The residential site - New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6532 on Lung Cheung Road, Beacon Hill - was awarded to NMC 8 Limited for $2.38 billion. NMC 8 Limited's parent company is Kerry Properties Limited.
The industrial site - Kwai Chung Town Lot No. 487 at the junction of Shing Yiu Street, Wing Kei Road and Kwai Fuk Road - was awarded to Ideal Ease Limited for $448.9 million. Ideal Ease Limited's parent company is Shun Hing Enterprises (H.K.) Limited.
The Beacon Hill lot has a site area of 10,642 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 6,487 and 10,812 sq m.
The Kwai Chung lot has a site area of about 1,264.6 sq m. The minimum gross floor area is 7,208 sq m and the maximum is 12,013 sq m.
