The Transport Department today said special traffic arrangements have been in place in across Hong Kong, as public transport services have been affected by road closures and traffic diversions.

People should continue to pay attention to these special traffic and transport arrangements, plan their journey in advance, avoid road-based transport and pay attention to radio and TV announcements.

The department’s Emergency Transport Co-ordination Centre has been in operation to monitor the traffic situation and handle incidents, and co-ordinate announcements of traffic and public transport services information.
