Zhuhai bridge, rail link on schedule

Secretary for Transport & Housing Prof Anthony Cheung expects the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and the Express Rail Link to be completed as scheduled.
 
Speaking to the media before leaving for Beijing today, Prof Cheung said he expected both projects to be discussed in meetings with his counterparts as they are important cross-boundary works.
 
At this stage, he said the Government expects both infrastructure projects will be completed on schedule.
 
Prof Cheung said this is his first visit to the capital since taking up his post. He will call on officials from the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Transport, and the Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office.
