The Electrical & Mechanical Services Department today advised consumers to stop using Garwall electrical adaptor model GW7884, for safety reasons.
 
It has not been certified to the internationally recognised BS1363 safety standard and failed to comply with the Electrical Products (Safety) Regulation.
 
Consumers should not purchase the model.
