The Hong Kong Observatory has lowered all storm signals as Typhoon Hato moves away from the city.
Typhoon Signal No. 10, issued at 9.10am this morning, was replaced by Signal No. 8 at 2.10pm, followed by Signal No. 3 at 5.10pm and Signal No. 1 at 6.20pm.
During the storm 380 people sought refuge at the Home Affairs Department's temporary shelters.
The 1823 Government Call Centre received 692 reports of fallen trees.
Eight reports of flooding and one of a landslide were received.
The Hospital Authority said 121 people sought medical treatment at public hospitals.
The Airport Authority said, as of 5pm, 480 flights had been cancelled.
